                                        Too Much Candy

" Ugh. I think I ate too much Halloween candy." was something I would never say. Something that does sound like me is, "I need more Halloween candy."  In my opinion, there is never enough of anything that is sweet. Here is a reason parents should give out more candy on Halloween, children will cause World War Three.  There is a chain reaction which causes this. First things first, parents start handing out veggies (or also known as the devil's fruit.) out for Halloween. After, the children will go bonkers for something that has flavor. They will start robbing Willy Wonka for some chocolate, then they rob Hershey chocolate company.  Willy Wonka and Hershey will team up against the children by shutting down the companies. The whole reason the parents decided to give out veggies was to keep the candy to themselves, so they call the President. The President needed to have that candy to survive, running the nation takes a lot out of him so he needs candy to give him joy in his life.  So the President said, "I need that candy lets tell them to start it back up or we need need to give them something they can't resist, new customers."  They agree and send the children to China. The Chinese won't know what to do with them. So they took matter into their own hands and started War to send them back. In conclusion, children don't get enough candy and if things get worse then bam, World War Three.  I've warned you now to prevent bad things from happening. So take a stand and give more candy.

My experience in the Old Bosworth Masion

One Day when I was going in front of the old Bosworth mansion, I remember that there where rumors about the old Bosworth mansion was haunted by ghost and other strange things that no one had ever seen, which special teenager didn't believe because it didn't make sense so then I decide to take a look inside the mansion to see if whether the rumors where real or not, I started climing the wall with out anybody noticing. I was starting to walk to the front door, got in and started to take a look inside the mansion at first everything look normal nothing happened didn't hear any sound, but the more I got deeper I started to hear things then I felt a cold chill coming down my spin, when that happen I knew that something was wrong and I had to go but I didn't leave I told my self that maybe someone was there pranking at me, I kept going until I saw a shadowy figured far away , at that moment I knew I had to run and get out, I started to run, luckily I got out the mansion with out any scratches on my body, since that night, I have never been near that masion.

Halloween Short Story

One night, I was walking through the woods, all alone, with no one in sight. As I was walking, I thought I saw a person, so I went up to them. When I got there, it wasn't a person, it was just a statue. I then noticed I was in a graveyard. There had to be at least a thousand graves there. It started to become foggy and I couldn't see very well. I then heard something, but it was just an old crow. I couldn't stand the place. I had to leave. I turned around to leave but couldn't see the exit because of the fog. I started to look around for a way out. I noticed the sun was about to set and knew it would be even harder to see. When the sun was about to set, I could see the exit. I started to go towards it when I heard a strange noise coming from behind me. I turned around to see another statue, but it started to come towards me. It was coming closer and I heard groaning. I knew it had to be a zombie even thought I didn't believe in them. But I did then. I tried to look for something to protect myself. I found a shovel and pointed it at the zombie. I was ready to hit it when I found out it wasn't a zombie. It was my friend. He said he was heading home and lost his way and ended up in the graveyard. He tripped on a rock and hit his head and got knocked out. I told him I was glad to see him. We went toward the exit and headed home.

Halloween Story

Too Much Candy

Ugh. I think I've eaten too much Halloween candy I mumbled as I sat on my bed staring up into space regretting eating all my candy. It was a great night. Three full size candy bars, two rings, and a blinking necklace. I had no idea what was going to happen next. All of a sudden I hop up and realize my whole room was covered in lava. I struggled to hop around as one by one a piece of my room was getting devoured by the boiling lava. I managed to jump on my shoe rack and get out the door, then I realize I just stepped into a huge mess. I look around me and all I see is lions standing in a huge jungle known as my hallway. I try to open my bedroom door but soon realize its locked. "Its going to be a long night" I say out loud as if I was talking to someone. The lions seemed to get scarier and scarier. I decide to make a run for it. I'm hoping around on vines. It was almost like I was Tarzan. I finally loose them. I get to what used to be our living room but know is a national park. There is a tight rope going across a big valley. I look back and see a hungry bear standing behind me, I have two choices. Be the bears deliscious dinner or walk across the rope. I wasn't about to get eaten, so I hop onto the rope looking down and beginning to get very frightened. I walk across one foot at a time making sure I don't miss the rope and take a plunging fall to a very sad death. I was almost there and hear a voice screaming "Sammy, Sammy, Sammy", I look up and loose my balance. I fall off the tight rope and then I open my to find my mom trying to wake me up to come pass out candy to last few kids. It was just a dream! "Ok" I say while I try to think about what just happened. "NEVER AGAIN''. I walk out the door and pass out the candy being disgusted by thinking of eating another piece. "I'm never eating a piece of candy for the rest of my life".

 Halloween Story
It was a cold and foggy Halloween night, and my friends and I decided to go Trick-or-Treating. We wanted to go to Hidden Meadows. The people at Hidden Meadows would always hand out king sized candy bars. Only one thing stood in our way, the Dark Woods. The only way to get there was to go through it. Many people have gone in to explore it, but didn't come back. Those woods are haunted by the ghost of Caroline. The story of Caroline begins about 50 years ago on Halloween. Caroline and her friends had decided they wanted to explore the woods. They came came across a little wood cabin in a huge field. They were cold and lost so, they went to go look for help. When they knocked on the door, an elderly woman answered. She had invited them in for some hot coco. The old women had poisoned them with the hot coco. The girls bodies were never found. The old lady had vanished. My friends and I needed a plan to get through the forest alive. We were starting wonder if candy was worth it. Free candy was worth it. We decided to go through the Dark Woods. We were half way through the the woods, and then we heard whispering from all around us. We all ran as fast as we could to get out of  there. We kept getting closer and closer to the light. We finally made it. We were confused at what had chased us. We finally started trick-or-treating. We had been trick-or-treating for a while now.  The last house we decided to trick-or-treat was a kind old lady giving out hot chocolate.
Tap, tap, tap. I woke up startled because of the story my cousin told me just two hours earlier, it was about a shapeshifting monster that liked turning people into stone. Tap, tap tap. I heard it again. I looked out the window and saw a tree branch. Maybe I was just freaking out, I told myself. Monsters aren't real. All of the sudden, I heard a shuffle, stomp, shuffle, stomp. I was starting to doubt myself, maybe monsters were real. But, then I saw my dad standing in the doorway. "go to sleep," he said. "Oh well," I thought. I would;t listen to my cousin's stories again.

MY HALLOWEEN STORY

One Halloween night, Lia and I were heading back to her house after a long night of trick or treating and we saw strange lights in the rough, rocky road. We passed a black cat with rough, dirty fur and realized the cat's eyes were reflecting. We both were a bit confused because the cat just appeared right in front of our eyes. We screamed and ran back to Lia's house, and we dropped all of our candy. We were starving by the time we got home. since we had no candy to eat, all we had to eat was cheese and crackers! NOBODY LIKES CHEESE & CRACKERS!!!!!!!!!!! All of a sudden, the same black cat with the dirty fur, appeared on the movie screen. We both screamed and ran for our lives. Then, The unthinkable happens...........................

The Punch

"What is that AWFUL smell?" I asked. Then I saw the cauldron full of bubbling purple liquid. It's probably just the punch for the Halloween party, at least I thought. At the moment my mother was out getting decorations for the party. I looked at the strange purple liquid again and wondered what it would taste like. Curiosity got the best of me, I started walking to the cauldron. Each step closer got me more curious. Then I felt someone or something tug my hoodie, I turned around slowly. As I turned around I thought it might have been my mother. She wouldn't be home yet, would she? Then, to my horror I saw two terrifying eyes staring at me that belonged to a hideous face that was covered with warts! I screamed as louder than I thought I ever could! I didn't think it could get any scarier until the "thing" was pulling it's own face off! I let of another bone chilling scream. I was closing my eyes hoping the monster wouldn't hurt me, until it tapped my shoulder. I opened my eyes slowly to find my father laughing with a mask in his hand. "You can't have the punch yet!" he said whilst laughing "You'll have to wait till the party!". Then we both laughed and waited for my mother to get home to decorate.

Halloween Story

"There" said my Dad, as he handed me our Jack-O-Lantern. "Just set it on the porch anywhere you want." "Ok" I replied. I went outside and found the perfect place to set the Jack-O-Lantern! I was about to go inside when I heard the leaves ruffle on the bush. I stopped and turned around. I looked around the yard and there was nothing there! I stayed outside for a little bit longer. I started going inside when I hear "RAWR!" It was my 3 year old brother dressed in his dragon Halloween costume. I screamed as loud as I could. I'm pretty sure I woke up my whole neighborhood! I told my brother to come inside with me. We went inside and told mom and dad about my little brother scaring me. We all laughed and fell asleep watching a movie!

Everybody said the old Bosworth mansion was haunted but I didn't believe it myself. That is until I actually did find out it was haunted.

It was late into the night of August 17th and there was a slight breeze, my friend and I didn't believe the rumor that was spreading throughout the neighborhood. The truth was I didn't want to believe it, iv'e been afraid of ghosts ever since I knew they existed. We crept up on the eerie setting of the old Bosworth mansion my friend saw a black cat and he thought we were doomed, but I told him that was a myth. The house was deserted long ago so we were clear to go inside. We walked around the bottom floor for about twenty minutes and then went up stairs when we heard a strange noise coming from the hall we immediately stopped. That was when we saw a white cloud in a figure of a human hovering above the ground. We started running for the stairs but then a river of rats poured through the guest bedroom in the way the boys were running so they went back down the other stair case. Each of them left in a full sprint back to their homes.

They would talk about this story with anyone that would listen. Most didn't believe it as they thought but some did. Few dared to enter this massive haunted mansion but if they did they were never seen again.

                            Halloween Story

Tap tap tap.The sound came from inside the closet.Quietly,I crept forward to the door when all of a sudden I saw a shadow. It didn't look like any shadow I've ever seen before. It had 3 arms and what seemed to look like a tail.I was so frighten that ran out of my room. I guess I was running so fast I hit a wall or something, and wow did it hurt. That wall left me a bruise on my leg bigger than my phone.Anyways after I stopped complaining I went to my brothers room to see it he was there. He wasn't. Then I started to wonder if he was just pulling my leg.So I went to open the closet door and surprise, surprise it was him.I asked him what he was doing, and he said he was trying to scare me.I told him "mission accomplished, now leave!"
Halloween Night!!!
One Halloween night A group of kids went out trick or treating. The oldest one wanted to do something really stupid but nobody else had a better idea.He wanted all of them to go into the old abandoned mansion where a family of 8 died in.At first they were a little scared so he decided to make things a little interesting. They all huddled around and the oldest told them that who ever can stay in the house the longest would win everybody candy for the night. The group of boys all agreed and went into the house.Somebody had an idea to go explore this mansion so they know where they can go if anything happens. Then they all walked up the long twisted stairs they creeked as they took any sudden movement. One of the boys said I’m kinda scared already the rest of the boys agreed except for the oldest he just called them all babies. The youngest boy had to go pee so he ran off into the house looking for the bathroom.20 minutes later the group of boys heard a scream come from the downstairs,so they ran down there and couldn't find him.Until the oldest found a hidden door”it looks like a basement” said the middle child. Then they heard the scream again from the doorway and they walked down with all of there flash lights on to see if anything was down there. They then heard a whimper in the corner and a light flashed on it and there was the boy turned into the corner with blood coming out of his eyes. The flashlights went out and the door shut and locked then all of them scream and banged on the door until it stopped. The boys were never seen again after that Halloween night!!!

Halloween Short Story

I took off my Halloween costume, washed the paint off my face, put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. I was almost asleep when I first heard the sound, it seemed to be someone was out front mowing our lawn! This was especially strange because our front yard is full of rocks. I grab my phone and sword, and went by the front window to investigate. When I got to the window, I saw something awful in the yard. Someone or something, was in our yard with a lawn mower. I grab my phone and call my mom. It rings a few times, but she never answers. I decide to take matters into my own hands. I grab my sword, and prepare to battle the creature. I tried to throw open the door, but I forgot to unlock it. Luckily, no one is around so no one will ever know how embarrassing that was. I unlock it and this time successfully, open the door. After this I run forward, and like a crazy person start screaming and whacking the creature. After a minute I hear, "Zac stop it's just a joke!". I grab my phone and using it as a flashlight, I find out that I had accidentally been beating the crap out of my friend with a sword. After that, and a bit of questioning my friend I find out that he thought no one was home and he wanted to see what we would do if he left a lawnmower on in our yard. After that, I went inside, locked the door leaving my friend outside, and went to bed.

Yes I really do have a sword. It is made of several layers of foam on the outside and a fiberglass pole in the middle

Haunted House

Everybody said the old Bosworth mansion was haunted, I used to believe them, but now I know it’s not true, or possible for that matter. When I was younger the kids would dare each other to go up and ring the doorbell. Only the older kids ever actually did it. (Older referring to 9,10, and 11) They would run up to the steps, and ring the bell with no worry, ignoring the looks of wonder coming from everyone under 8. The day I turned 10, which happens to be Hallows Eve, I was dared to do something no child has ever done before, ring the bell on Halloween. Being the proud newly 10 year old I was, and accepted the challenge confidently, but on the inside, I was freaking out about the following day. I had rang the bell 2 times before, once on Easter morning when I was 8, (terrifying) and once on a Wednesday after school last year (scary, but less terrifying.) Never, in the history of ever, had anyone ever gone at 10 o’clock at night, on a Friday, on the 31st of October. And that’s exactly what I did.
Around 9:45, I headed for the Bosworth house, dropping my candy off at my house on the way. I was really scared. It was hard enough to ring the bell in the middle of the day, but doing it at night on Halloween? I couldn’t remember why I agreed to it. Even the 11 year olds wouldn’t do it, so why was I?! At this point I was freaking out inside, but I did my best to act calm. A large group of kids had come to watch, and everyone was silent as I made my way towards those dreaded steps. Suddenly someone called out, “I’ll give you a hundred bucks if you go inside!” I froze at the top of the stairs. Everyone in the crowd started whispering to one another. I decided to ignore the comment and took a deep breath. I walked up to the door and started to reach for the bell, but my hand started moving toward the handle instead. I twisted the knob and the door creaked slowly open. For the hundredth time that night I thought, “What the heck am I doing!?” But my body wouldn’t respond. I heard panicked whispers from behind me, but my body paid them no mind as I inched my way into the house. The door slammed closed behind me, and I heard muffled shrieks from outside.
I was inside the house for about half an hour. When I came out I was limping slightly and had a small bruise on my arm. My hair was covered in dust and the palms of my hands were scraped up. But that’s not why everyone was staring. When I step through the door, I had a huge smile on my face, and I was holding a cupcake. I walked over to the kid who offered a hundred dollars. He quietly handed me the money (why he had it with him I don’t know), and I walked away, leaving everyone wide eyed and gaping. And that’s why I know the Old Bosworth house is definitely not haunted.
                                                      The Halloween Treat
I took off my Halloween costume, Washed the paint off my face, put on my pajamas and went to bed. I was almost asleep when I heard the first noise from my closet. I hurried and put my covers over my face, because I thought it was self defense. After the first noise I thought it was nothing but as I started falling back asleep it happened again. This time it wasn't the same noise. It sounded like crunching. I wasn't sure what it could be. The only thing in there was my clothes and my candy. The noise then came again. So I stood up and walked to the door with my pillow, just encase I had to smash someone or something. Then I opened the door and, guess what was in there. My little brother eating my candy! Turns out I did need the pillow. When I was finished with him my pillow Would be flat.
Happy Halloween

Everybody said the old Bosworth mansion was haunted, but my brother and I didn't believe in ghosts. So on Halloween we decided to go and check it out. Why on Halloween? I don't know because thinking back on it that probably wasn't our smartest idea considering it was Halloween and if it was haunted that might make any monsters stronger. Anyways, as we walked up to the door and we were about to let ourselves in, (nobody lived there, so there was no point in knocking) the door slowly creaked open. Now you,re probably thinking we turned around at this point, like a smart person would do. Wrong. We really weren't thinking straight and went right in. It looked just like any ordinary house minus the dust and cobwebs everywhere. Suddenly, we heard another creaking sound coming from the stairs. We immediately headed toward the sound. We followed it up the stairs and into the master bedroom. From behind the curtain we heard another creak. As we pulled back the curtain, I don't know what we expecting to see, but it sure wasn't a small black cat. Every time the cat moved the floor beneath it creaked. Shortly after, we left, thinking to ourselves I wonder how that little cat earned how to open a door. We were also left thinking how that little cat could have left everyone thinking that the house was haunted. Overall, it was a good Halloween, we still got plenty of candy and we solved a little mystery. Happy Halloween!

Halloween short story

                                                  Halloween!! Short story

When i was younger it was close to Halloween, and i had to go do my homework for school and  I heard something. At first, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me so I just began to do my homework. Until I heard it again so I was too scared to go check so i just ran to my brother and I told him and he tried to scare me and he told me there was a ghost in my house. Of course i was little so I believed him. Then, he told me "Look" I turned around and i saw something moving then i started crying. Then, my sister comes and hugs me she was the one that was freaking me out. She was the one who was the ghost she was pretending she was a ghost then my nephew,my sister and my brother started laughing at me. And that's when i knew it was going to get worse.
Happy Halloween

I took off my Halloween costume, washed the paint off my face, put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. I was almost asleep when I first heard the sound of my door creaking open. I hurried and looked out the door but nothing was there. I picked up my cat when suddenly I heard the sound again. My cat jumped out of my arms and ran out the door. I was worried. I yelled MOM! After that, the hallway lights turned off. I walked out of my room and into the hallway to turn them back on but I saw a black figure staring at me. I ran in my room, slammed the door shut and covered myself with blankets. I heard nothing but silence for a minute. Just then the door opened wide and a bright light covered me so I couldn't see. The bright light turned off and staring at me was my cat. He meowed and jumped on my bed. I thought it was over but then again I heard my door creaking. I looked out of the hallway but I still saw nothing. I went back in my room and turned the light on. After that, I saw the black figure looking at me again. I jumped out of bed and ran in my bathroom. Then I opened the door a minute later and nothing was there. I called my mom but she didn't answer it someone else did. A deep, creepy voice answered saying i'm in your bed. I looked back and my brother popped up in a black costume and yelled HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I was so scared. Now that was the best Halloween.

Halloween Story

The black cat twitched its tail twice. It hissed. Then, it POUNCED! Not at me, but at the mouse scurrying across the floor. That was the third time today, we probably needed a mouse trap, but this is the story of how I decided. Trixie Treats wasn't bad at it, she just got tired after the fourth or fifth mouse she chased each day. Trixie Treats was my cat, but we mostly call her Trixie.
I really wish you wouldn't, but I already know you did, asking who names their cat Trixie Treats. Here's why: I was at the town Halloween Spooks Street Fair, and Kooky Kars (which sells almost any kind of toy car) announced that this year they would be doing a fundraiser for the animal shelter. A donation of $5 or more could enter you to win the grand prize, 12 Kooky Kars of your choice. Three first prize winners would get a kitten from the shelter (if they wanted one, if not they got a $15 gift card to Walmart), and 5 second prize winners would get a $10 gift card to the movie theater. I decided to donate $6 to the shelter, but when you do, they want your name and the most creative Halloween animal name you can think of. As you probably guessed, I wrote "Trixie Treats". I won first prize but they named it what you wrote on the form, so that's how she got her name.
So, what I was going to tell you before you wanted to know about Trixie's name, was the story of last Halloween. I brought Trixie home from the street fair along with lots of candy, bubbles, a kazoo, a rubber duck, and one of those cheesy coloring books that no one takes seriously. Trixie protected me from so many things that day. I was out trick-or-treating, and I took Trixie with me. I walked up to this one house that was like 3 blocks away, and it had GREAT decorations, but out of no where, Trixie pounced at me! She came leaping with such a big force for such a little kitten, that she knocked me over right as one of the zombie's swords fell right where I was standing literally 3 seconds ago. I was so grateful for Trixie right then. The sword wasn't real, but it fell with its pointy end going straight down that still could have hurt me. I hugged her and kept her right by my side the rest of trick-or-treating.
I got home, and there was a bag of Goldfish (the crackers, not the fish) on my porch. There was a tag that read "From Adam". Adam was my worst enemy for years, and a terrible bully. Every Halloween and April Fool's Day he gave me something nasty. This is why I was surprised it was Goldfish, but I knew something was up. I inspected the bag, but saw nothing wrong. I was just about to open it, when Trixie pawed at the ONE detail I missed. It read, "The snack that fights back", not "The snack that smiles back". I suddenly knew it was from the Perky Pranks Store, they have pretty much every kind of prank there is. Everything and anything from that store was banned at school. That place has the WORST pranks so I went and threw the bag in the trash. I was lucky I hadn't opened that, who knows what might have happened!
Earlier that day, I had been playing a game on the computer, and I was in an adventure with some phantoms chasing me. All of the sudden, the game crashed and went black. I have no idea how the next part happened, so don't ask. Out of no where, one of the phantoms from the game just appeared and started chasing me all over the house! As I was running across the kitchen, brave little Trixie jumped on the counter, and jumped right on the phantom! She went right through it and it disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. Trixie saved me from some crazy things, so she's the best cat anyone could have. She's a great cat, and a great mouse catcher! Now that I recall all of that, I don't need a mouse trap.....I've got Trixie!

Halloween Short Story

I was sitting in my bed looking at the closet door. The closet door kept squeaking and the door kept moving back and forth. I tried to go back to bed but that noise was keeping me awake. When I finally had enough I got out of my bed and tiptoed to the closet door. When I got closer I thought I saw a clown so I ran back to my bed. I peaked out above by blanket and saw it was just my red coat. I went back to bed but woke up later to the squeaking sound. I closed my eyes and ran to my closet door and swung it opened. When I opened my eyes and saw a clown. I ran back to my bed and was scared to death. Then I heard laughing and peeked up above my blanket. I saw my older brother Charlie laughing his head off in a clown costume. He looked at me and said, " Happy Halloween Sucker!" I knew that this was the beginning of Halloween.

Halloween short story

Everybody said the old Bosworth mansion was haunted ... but me and my friends weren't afraid of nothing. It was a cold halloween night with a full moon in the air. The air smelled of leaves and a soft breeze was blowing. But as we got closer to the old mansion, the air smelled of rotten flesh and the air was dead. But that didn't stop us to go inside the old mansion. The door was open, so we went inside.
The air was cold and the mansion smelled like old books and rotting floor boards. We walked further inside the house. The people that lived there died in their sleep in a house fire and people say their ghosts haunt the mansion. A black cat ran past us and hissed at us, but we still continued. We were walking down a hallway and my friend said that someone brushed past his neck.
At the end of the hallway, on the wall painted in something red, It was blood! It said in all capitols, LEAVE OR NEVER RETURN. one of my friends freaked out and left the house. It was just me and my one friend. We saw a door open so we walked in side. It was the owners bed! It still had their prints in the bed. suddenly a flame appeared and it lit a piece of paper and it dropped on the ground. We ran out of the house before the house caught on fire. The house burned down before the firemen could put it out. Sometimes I hear in the night the moaning and groaning of the dead couple trying to go back home. And the Old Bosworth mansion was not standing any more.

     Halloween Short Story:

Tap. Tap. Tap. The sound came from inside the closet. Quietly, I crept toward the door, full of fear, i mange to inch closer towards the door, but go back a few inches. I couldn't find the courage to move forward, so i rushed back to my bed, pull the covers over my head and wait til whatever it was to go away. Hours passed and i was still hidden under my covers, until something sticky reached under my covers and touched my arm, and then i screamed so loud i probably woke up the neighbors right across the street! Then, it lift the covers up to revel my younger sister, i asked her why she was up this late at night, she replied, I couldn't resist the smell of your candy you had tucked away in your closet. So, when father went to bed, i waited about 20 minutes till you were asleep, then i quietly slipped into your closet to eat some candy! I almost wanted to hit her, but pulled her into a hug and slowly murmured into her ear, If you had asked, i would of shared my candy with you, but you almost gave me a heart attack, so i guess you'll have to wait until tomorrow morning for some. So now i know not to hide my stash of candy in the closet, but maybe somewhere else.

                                                       My Life as a Writer

I have loved reading since about the third grade and one time I was like, "What if I create my own book?" So I started on some books on lined paper and drawings to go with them, (Which nobody could probably read or see what was happening.) I then would ask if people wanted to read them and they said that they were pretty cool. Then in the fifth grade, you HAD to write stories. I wrote stories about whatever random things popped up in my nine year brain, and I surprisingly started liking to write a lot! In the sixth grade I didn't have honors language arts, but this year, I finally got in and I'm loving it! I seriously love reading and writing, and I like the idea that we have to post on here every day.

Halloween Short Story

My brother and I were walking through the woods one Halloween when we saw what appeared to be a short cut "Let's go that way," my brother said.
But I wasn't sure if we should go that way because the all trees were dead and crows were the only birds you could see.  "I don't think that's a good idea," I said.
"What are you afraid of, we will be fine," said my brother
"Okay, fine, but if we get lost or are late getting home it will be your fault,"
So we walked down the old path I had a bad feeling about it but I didn't say anything, after walking for awhile we saw a sign that said, "Beware horrifying things are ahead!"
I was a worried, but before I could say anything my brother already had started walking.
"Didn't you read the sign? It says don't go any further,"
"We'll be fine it's just a sign, what's the worst that could happen,"
I knew I wasn't going to convince him that it was a bad idea so I kept walking. A little while after we started walking again I noticed that the sun was about to set, I think my brother noticed too because he said, "We need to find a good place to sleep; I have a feeling that we won't make it home before the sun goes down, it will be to dangerous,"
Even though I knew he was right I still wasn't sure it was a good idea.
Soon after he said that we saw a old house, but it  looked as if no one has lived there in many years.
"This will be good enough for the night," My brother said as he was looking into the window of the house.
"Okay whatever," I had given up trying to convince him that this is a bad idea. When we walked in there was a ton of old and dusty furniture pieces. We found some old blankets and pillows. My brother fell asleep as soon as he hit the pillow, but I couldn't fall asleep, I kept hearing sounds of many people laughing. Finally I decided to go check it out.  So I quietly walked upstairs and opened the door, and I saw a ton of witches in the room making a potion! One of them yelled in an old raspy voice, "What are you doing here?!" I screamed and ran out of there as fast as I could, My brother heard my screaming and followed he out of the house. We ran as fast as we could and didn't stop until we got back to my house, that's the last time I take a short cut.

Halloween

There," said my Dad, as he handed me our jack-o-lantern. "Just set it on the porch." ... It was the night before Halloween and it was very quite on our street there was nobody anywhere and that was unusual because our street was always very lively but tonight it was different. As I was walking out I heard a big crash across the street and as goosebumps started to fill my arms my curiosity go the best of me and and went to go check what had happen so as I was crossing the street I heard another big crash this time it was down the street so again my curiosity go the best of me and even though I knew I should go back inside I didn't. So I hoped on my skate board and zoomed down the street to check and so I finally got to the sight and you wouldn't believe what I saw! There was a gigantic spaceship hovering over the street and I got so scared I hoped on my skateboard and attempted to get back home but that's when it all went down a big blue beam came down from the UFO and I started floating up into the spaceship, and once I got abducted into the UFO there was the scariest creature staring down at me all I know is that it was not alien at all. Know I am a slave for this misterous creature. Know you guys back at home now what happened to me on this night. Dad I'm so scared if your reading this please send help!

Halloween Story

Tap. Tap. Tap. The sound came from inside the closet. Quietly, I crept toward the door, leaving no trace that I was in the mulberry mansion. The floor creaked as I carefully watched my steps. One after the other. I reached out to grasp the door handle and turned it slowly. "Echhhhh" It sounded as if the handle hadn't been touched for years. It felt cold and rusty and there was a damp mist that spread throughout the room.  As I peered through the door I saw a glimpse of a light then, CRASH! I fell to the ground and my eyes began to feel very, very heavy. The next thing I remember:  Waking up in a dark room, Candles lit, A velvet drape over the windows,  And a whiff of some sort of bleach. I couldn't sit up because I was strapped down on something like a facial bed. I could turn my head though. I peeked behind a candle and saw a figure. This was no ordinary figure. It was very tall, had a red/maroon cape, and in my view looked like it had fangs. I tried to scream but nothing came out. All I could think about was "What is that", "Could it kill me", and "Where am I". Looking at the figure made me ill. I wanted to get out of the Mulberry mansion. I wanted to see my mom and my dad! The figure started moving. Up and out of the room.  I sat and thought about my plan. I remembered that the "Vampire" had come in 30 seconds ago and left 30 seconds after, Which pointed out to me, that I had 1 minute of escape. I quickly tossed, turned, and bit the ropes. They finally came undone. I took a long body pillow and place it on the facial bed I also got a blanket, and put it over top. I looked around the room, Made a run for it, and hid. The figure soon returned with a racket of noise. I could see a little bit behind the velvet curtain. He was carrying a monkey, I didn't know why. The "Vampire" clenched the monkey and opened his mouth. The squeals stopped instantly. All I could see was a broken neck. A dead monkey. I couldn't make out whether it actually was a Vampire, or someone who just liked the taste of monkey. All i´m saying is who wants raw monkey? I made my way around the scene, to find a room full of skulls. The death like stench shot up my nostrils and goosebumps appeared on my arms. I looked around. I found an old photograph, I dusted it off and two people became visible. As I looked closer, these two people had fangs. I heard a sound from the other room, and sprinted out of sight. Another room came into view. I saw a large door that had wood carvings on it. I remembered that door from before. This was the closet! I knew the way out! I dashed through the hallways, the entrance was getting closer and closer. Finally I reached out to grasp the door handle and it turned slowly. "Echhhhh." The shining sun almost blinded my eyes. I couldn't stop running. I ran all the way to my house up on main street. And warned anyone who went near the Mullberry mansion. As I got older I could never forget the experience of that crazy day.
It was Halloween night and I was out trick or treating with my friend. I was dressed up as Link from the Legend of Zelda series. I was going around the neighborhood when my feet started hurting from my over sized boots. I was walking okay for a while until I went to my friends house, we decided to take a shortcut into his lawn, where I forgot he didn't have grass he had weeds. I took one step and realized what I was doing immediatly, but I didn't want to turn around so I kept on going. Every single step brought extreme pain as more stickers stuck to my socks. I finally got off the weeds and sat down where I got two pieces of candy and spent the next ten minutes picking stickers off of my feet.

The Best Friend

I was stuck at home all by myself. It was Halloween night, but mom had said that I was too old for trick-or-treating. I was getting bored watching Halloween thrillers and handing out candy to little kids at the door. I wanted to do something fun, it was Halloween night after all. I thought "Why don't I just ask some friends if they want to come over?" Then, I remembered most of them were still allowed to go trick-or-treating. I didn't really think it was fair. Why do they get to go but I don't? Just because whenever a bowl of candy that says "Please take one" is left out on someone's doorstep and I just dump the whole thing in my bag anyway doesn't mean I steal candy that's meant for the younger kids! Wait, forget I said that. Anyway, it's still isn't fair! Right as I was about to go find something to do in my room, a knock was at the door. "Must be more candy-crazy kids" I thought. I opened the door, but no one was there. I stepped outside, looked around, but still didn't seem to see anyone around my house. I just assumed it was some teens doorbell-ditching. My mom told me earlier that I wasn't allowed to go outside, but I kind of did. I didn't go to the other side of the neighborhood or anything, just the edge of my walkway. Right when I was about to go inside, the front door slammed shut right in my face! I pounded on the door, and, thinking that it was my brother playing a prank on me, I started shouting his name. It felt like forever, but I finally heard the door unlock. I opened it, stepped inside, and saw.......absolutely no one there. Just then, the lights went out. The TV in the other room that was still on was flashing light into the hallway. "This isn't funny! Come out!" I yelled. No answer. I looked around, and a chill went up my back when I saw the back door wide open. I knew I closed it earlier, but I guess I forgot to lock it. I knew that someone, or something, was in the house. Fear was slowly creeping up inside me. I heard a sound in the TV room, like something falling off a shelf. I walked into the room, my knees shaking with fear. On the ground, a picture of me was on the floor. It had fallen off the wall. I was more scared than ever, chills on my arms, neck, and back, fear struck in my heart, and shaking not leaving my knees and legs. I decided to try to calm down. I went into the living room and tried to turn the lights back on. The moment they flickered on, I saw someone sitting behind the counter. I thought I was going to faint from fear as I walked closer, closer, and closer. When I reached the dark counter, a person jumped out and yelled! I walked backwards toward the wall, the person coming closer, until I realized, it was my very best friend! "Haha! I got you good! Happy Halloween, best friend!" she said. "Oh, wow! You are good! Happy Halloween!Hey, can I have some of that candy?" That was the best Halloween ever!

On Halloween Night
My brother, Simon, and I were walking through the streets one Halloween night when the road came to a split.  "Let's go that way," my brother said. My brother and I argue about everything. So of course, we argued. “I don’t want to go that way! Why can’t we go that way?” I cried pointing. The moon illuminated the road, fog was creeping around corners, and the street was completely vacant. The street had no halloween decorations, but they didn’t need any. It was creepy enough on it’s own. “That way looks a little scary, are you sure you want to go that way?” Simon said. “Don’t make up excuses. I didn’t know you were such a baby.” I replied. He glared; saying no more. He still didn’t move toward the dimly lit street. “Come on!” I said exasperated. This time I could win the argument! “Ellie said she was going to have a party! This way will be quicker and we’ve been here in daylight! It can’t be that bad!” Something I said must have got to him. “Whatever.” he said walking quickly in the direction I chose. When he turned his back, I pumped my fist in a silent celebration before following him down the street. I ran up to meet him and took lead in a brisk pace full of confidence. “Did you hear that?” He asked suddenly. “No.” I said.  I continued without pause until he asked a third time. “Did you hear anything?” “Of course not!” I said turning to face him, but he was gone. I whirled around searching for any sign of brilliant blue eyes or perhaps a glimpse of red fabric. He was gone. “Simon?! This isn’t funny!” fear was slowly edging into my voice. “You’re really starting to scare me!” I paused hoping for an answer. “This is no hide and seek game!” I backtracked. Where could he be?  I quickened my pace, tears stinging my eyes. This wasn't supposed to happen! I broke into a run, glancing back constantly. It’s all my fault. I thought. “I’m sorry!” I yelled into the night. “I’m sorry!” I fell to my knees and let the tears flow. Why didn't I look back before? He could have been gone longer than I relized! A cold hand creeped it’s way up my back and rested on my shoulder. I froze. Was  I to have the same fate as my brother? NO. I decided. I screamed and kicked myself out of the creature’s grasp. Only to find that the creature was my brother. His face was shining like the stars. At first, I thought it was my imagination, but then I realized that it was the moon reflecting off his tear stained face. “Simon!” I cried and threw myself around him. "Laura! Where were you?!" “What are you talking about? Where were you?!” “I thought you were eaten by monsters.” He breathed in my ear. "Where were you?" “I wandered off trying to find out what the sound was. I didn’t wander that far, but I couldn’t find where the noise was coming from. I eventually gave up. When I went back, you were gone!” I was laughing so hard by the end that I was crying. “What’s so funny?” "Nothing. Let's go home, I've had enough of a scare for one night."

Viva La Chocolate

Tap. Tap. Tap. The sound came from inside the closet. Quietly, I crept toward the door. The tapping continued, although, as I came closer, it sounded as though something was now rubbing against the door. The sounds were faint, and I don't believe they were intentional. Whatever was in there didn't want to be discovered. As I drew nearer, fear danced up my spine. When I finally reached the door, I was shaking from head to toe. After what felt like an hour, I built up enough nerve to open the door. I reached for the door knob, my arm trembling. Before I could lay a finger on the knob, there was a loud "BANG" from the closet as if something had fallen. My arm recoiled faster then ever. Then all the noises stopped. My heart dropped. Chills raced up my back. As I stood petrified in fear, I wondered why I had gone to the door in the first place. Once my heart started beating again, I crept back into bed and pulled the covers over my head. I immediately started praying, and also really regretting putting my candy stash in the closet. Over my useless praying and sobs, I heard a slow small creek. The sound gradually grew louder. I recognized the sound immediately. It was my closet door. Footsteps coming towards my bed followed soon after the noise. I peaked over my covers and, in the dark, could make out a small figure with fangs. I ducked under my covers hoping for the best, but inside, I felt the end drawing nearer. Pit, Pat, Pit, Pat. The once faint footsteps grew louder as the creature came closer. Before I could think of a getaway plan, the creature stood before me. My face peaked out, but I didn't dare open my eyes. I could feel his damp breath against my tear stained face. His breath smelled strangely of chocolate, which surprised me. But what did it matter? This was the end, right? I started to wonder what was happening when a hand was placed on my back.  I screamed at the top of my lungs for as long as I could. Once I ran out of breath, I waited for the creature's next move."I spiwlt yo' candy off da shelf. Can I sweep wif you? I'm scared?" A wave of relief washed over me. I opened my eyes to recognize my four-year old brother. As my eyes adjusted, I also noticed that he didn't have fangs, but instead, he had two Kit-Kats crammed up his mouth. I laughed at my crazy thoughts and agreed to let him sleep with me."You'rwe a loud screamer," my brother said. After laughing some more, I replied "Happy Halloween."

The Haunted Night

Everybody said the Old Bosworth Mansion was haunted. That is everybody except for me. I  knew that even though they had their story, it was just a ton of baloney. That is until I had to spend the night there. I thought that it would be fun going away for the weekend. Then, suddenly, my whole week was turned upside down thanks to Mom and her dumb news. She said,"Guess what? We're not going skiing in Denver anymore. We're going to go to our old dead grandpa's house." (That's right. We own a mansion because our grandpa just died...and I didn't just Woo Hoo in my head). Now we are on our way to his death place to see what it has in store for us.
When we got there, it looked as though it had not been used for a hundred years which either means grandpa was too lazy to have a decent house or he had a horrible maid and I mean HORRIBLE. When we got to the door, it creaked open and closed by itself. My half-witted brother probably just thought, "Awesome. We have automatic doors." because that is the way he thinks. I had the strangest feeling that someone was looking at me every time I walked though the hall. The only thing that I could think of was, "Why did we have to come here?"
Some people say that if your haunted you have sign I know that I did. In the middle of the night their are random foot step all though the house. Then again my brother is a know sleep walker and sometime we eats in his sleep. I can tell you that first hand, but this was not his loud foot steps they where going Creak, Creak, Creak. Every single step I her a chill rushed down my spin. Then I screamed. Not because the foot steps because I though that I just saw old dead grandpa Bosworth looking at me. Strait at me.
Of course my mother didn't believe me because I am a kid and kid do have nightmares. That whole night I could just hear foot steps going Creak, Creak, Creak against this old houses floors that barley have more fungi on them then my brothers feet. No sleep but no old dead grandpa's (other than mine that first time) saw which was good. That Morin my brother was scared out of his withes too. Soon though right as a left the breakfast table blood was on the wall with my grampa standing right next to it.
Of course the first thing I did is scream anyone that wouldn't is ether clues or not scare of anything. I asked him "what do you want from me!!!!!." All he said was "get out, get out, get out"and the blood said get out. I booked it no stoping me now but then. CRASH! I slamed into my brother and he looked at me I yelled "RUN!!!!" He yelled why and then I said look and he saw grandpa looking at.
Soon the whole family heard us and we go out of their with our lifes and our tails between our legs. The next thing you know we are back home whith zero dead old folks to creep use out. We do live right next to the old folks home but they are all living. All of use have recoverd exsepted my brother who sleeps with his eyes open and his room light on. Do people call use crazy oh yah they do but, we are safe now or are we (scary "dum dum dummm" music).

The Halloween nightmare

                                                      The Halloween Nightmare

Ugh!! I think I've eaten too much Halloween candy!! I think i'll just sleep in the couch a little. "Henry"?? "HENRY"!!! Said a loud and scratchy voice. "W-w-hat-t"? I said feeling all worn out. *Ugh* It's probably just my mom again, she doesn't like me sleeping on her couch she talks in a very patient voice for example "Henry, that's why we have something called a room to sleep in, your ruining my couch!!" "Oh my sweet sweet mom, *Sight* W-wait a minute... my family is gone of to Wisconsin to visit grandma!! I'm home alone!!  "Oh Henry.. were are you??" The vicious thing said!! I can already image myself dead in about 5 minutes if not because of whatever's here, or because ill die of fright anyways!! "HENRY!!" Suddenly i wake up in the floor i guess i fell in the process of the scare, So.. I get up to just see that my parents are back from grandmas early and with a very mad face, *Oh* but here I go with the scold from sleeping in the couch!! Maybe the nightmare would've not been so bad!!

I took off my Halloween costume, washed the paint off my face, put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. I was almost asleep when I first heard the sound, someone was knocking on my front door. Knock, Knock, Knock. I was about to open the door, but just then the power went out. The knocking stopped but I knew that if I fell asleep that I might never wake up again from the man knocking on the door. So instead of sleeping I stayed in my living room with a flashlight and my phone. I was wondering why my parents were taking so long to get home. But then, again I heard the knocking on the door. Knock, Knock, Knock. I curled myself into a ball and covered myself with a blanket, the knocking kept getting even louder. KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! Then, I heard the doorknob trying to be turned. Whoever that was, they seemed really strong, because it sounded like the nails in the knob were breaking! Just then, I had an idea: What if I called the police to tell them there was someone trying to enter my home? I reached over to grab my phone and I dialed 911. "Hello. This is the Police Department what is your emergency?" They said when they picked up the phone. "There is someone trying to break into my house!" I said quickly. "They tried to break the doorknob and they have been knocking for the past half hour!" "We are coming right away! What is your address?" Later there was a knock on the door and they said "Utah Police Department!" I quickly opened the door to see the police and my Mom standing at the door. "The mysterious man knocking at your door was your poor mother." They said. "I've been knocking for the past hour!" My mother said. "It's freezing out there!" "I'm sorry mom, I didn't know it was you." I said. That night I thought of how stupid I was, I sure am glad that wasn't me out there.

Halloween short story

The black cat twitched its tail twice. It hissed. Mare slowly began to back away. She didn't trust this cat. There was a moments pause. Then the cat began to change. Slowly but surely, the cat mutated into Mare's nightmare. The black cat stood up on its hunches, its back beginning to stretch upward. Its black fur melted away into a long black gown, long black hair falling over the pale girls shoulders. Mare's nightmare cat-girl stood up fully. She was a pale girl, almost translucent. Her limp midnight hair almost melded with her black gown. Mare stepped back, but stumbled over a root sticking up out of the ground. Mare cried out as she fell on her backside. The thin ghost-like girl stepped forward, her hair falling from her face. What Mare saw made her want to scream, but she found she had no voice. The girl's eyes were blood red with tiny pupils. Her cheeks were thin and bony, the cheekbones jutting out of her skin. Mare stumbled to her feet. "I've come for you..." the bone-thin figure said in a hollow voice. Then the nightmare girl rushed towards her. Mare turned and ran, screaming as she went. Mare ran for what felt like hours, though it was only about two minutes. As Mare was about to turn the corner, she rammed into a tall figure. "AAA!!!" She shrieked stumbling back. "AAA!!!" cried the slim figure she had run into. "Mare?" said the person. They stepped out of the shadows, and Mare could clearly see the curly red hair and freckled face of Harold Kowalowitz. It was only Harold. Mare looked behind her to see if the nightmare girl was following her. But there was nothing but the darkness of the street behind her.

I am hoping to use this in one of my stories, so please let me know what you think.

My Life As A Writer
My life as a writer is pretty important. My whole life Writing has been there.I don't know why but when ever I had to say something i couldn't say in person i just always wrote it down. Then as I got older I started to understand more about writing and enjoyed it.When I started rapping of course i needed to know how to write so I knew it would come in handy sooner or later.
