'Twas the Night Before Christmas

In my family, one of our favorite traditions is reading "The Night Before Christmas." Every year on Christmas Eve, my relatives and family gather together to have a Christmas party. Personally, I like spending time with my relatives on Christmas Eve just as much as I like Christmas day. During Christmas Eve we all feast upon a giant dinner and then it's time for presents. After we open presents, everybody gathers around to listen to " The Night Before Christmas." I love this tradition because as we sit there and listen, it's so quiet and peaceful. To me, this tradition is a necessity. In my family, this is a tradition that goes way back. Both my mom and dad used to read "The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve. In my opinion, reading "The Night Before Christmas" is the most memorable and loved tradition of the Holiday season.
