                               My Life as a Writer

I began my journey of a writer in the 4th grade.  I remember this silly story I made about me and my friends with elemental powers. It was called Seriously Dude (The characters said dude a lot) It was about 8 chapters long and then I gave up on it.  After that, I started to look into poetry and some more fantasy.  I wrote about Countries, Imagination, and dreaming (I was a real strange kid in 5th grade). 6th grade was a bit tougher, I didn't write as much I hoped, but managed to get a story or two here and there.  I went through a magical phase and wrote about how mediation brought out everyones inner chi and the magic it brings.  I liked that phase.  Now as a 7th grader I write with more humor, emotion, and quality.  I now enjoy writing humorous tales with Teens, Wizards, and much more.  I really try hard to grasp the readers attention and not lose it. In conclusion, I am a fantasy humor type writer that loves to write.

  1. Wow Topher! You really grabbed my attention in this paragraph. I liked it because you went throughout your writing life and explained everything. Maybe next time you can talk more about how you liked writing when you were in maybe 1,2 or 3rd grade.

  4. ^ignore that I messed up on it
Good job Topher. I really loved how you grabbed my attention and I just loved reading the whole thing because you kept it interesting and I enjoyed reading about what type of writing you did. One thing I do think you could improve on having a conclusion - you just kinda left it but other than that amazing job.

  5. Nice!! I like how you started your paragraph with "I began my journey of a writer". I do think you should add more to the conclusion, but it was GREAT.
