When I was little, I always liked to read. I thought that it was a good hobby. So I tried to write a comic strip. It did not go so well. After failing and failing over and over again, I actually received a 2 on my report card in 1st grade in writing.
I was forced to write in this journal that was brand new and looked very nice. At first I thought that it was horrible (which it was for the first and second grade) but then I became a great writer. Soon my hand writing improved so much it was almost as if I had typed it. Then I stopped, so it got worse. Now, I'm what most would call a decent writer. I'm no J.K Rowling, but I can write awesome sci-fie novels.
There are, however, some speed bumps in the road of writing. Such as now when I have sprained my wrist to the point were I have to write with my left hand. I think that I would be a better writer if I started to write more, but now days typing is in and writing is out. I wish that this tale was more exciting, but I was told that this post didn't have to be action packed.
Very nice,it wasn't boring acually it was intresting ive gone through that myself and i can relate good job keep it up!!!
ReplyDeleteI also went through a period of hating writing, and I have also learned to love it. Sci-Fi is one of my favorite types of books to read, so I love your choice of subject.
ReplyDeleteYour humor interested me and made me keep reading, your really good and in time i'm sure your gonna be an awesome writer
ReplyDeleteYou sir have a great sense of humor that shines in your writing! That was funny! I could have read a whole other paragraph about the dreaded journal, very clever. I'd love to hear a passage on managing to write with one hand. Great work and I'm looking forward to reading more of your stuff!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY like how you added the speed bump thing in there!! I like how you thought the journal was horrible and this was really interesting!
